1. Introduction

Welcome to Clarens Educational Tours. These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Clarens Educational Tours, including educational tours and the sale of merchandise. By using our services or purchasing products from our website, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Tour Bookings and Payment

A deposit is required to secure a tour booking. The amount and payment schedule will be specified at the time of booking.

The balance of the tour fee is due [number] days prior to the tour commencement date.

All payments must be made in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3. Merchandise Orders and Payment

Full payment is required at the time of placing an order for merchandise.

All merchandise orders are subject to availability.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

Tours: Cancellation by the customer must be made in writing. The following cancellation fees will apply:

• More than 60 days before the tour: 10% of the deposit will be retained.
• 31-60 days before the tour: 50% of the deposit will be retained.
• 15-30 days before the tour: 75% of the deposit will be retained.
• Less than 15 days before the tour: 100% of the deposit will be retained.

Merchandise:

Defective Items: If you receive a defective item, please notify us within 7 days of receipt. We will replace the item or issue a full refund, including any return shipping costs.

Change of Mind: If you change your mind about an item, you may return it within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping costs, provided the item is in its original condition, unworn, and with all tags attached.

Exchanges: Exchanges are subject to availability. If the desired exchange item is not available, we will offer a refund.

Returns Procedure: To return an item, please contact us at charlwessels@gmail.com to obtain a return authorization. You will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.

Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receiving the returned item.

5. Tour Participation

Participants are expected to adhere to the instructions of the tour guide and to act in a responsible manner.

Clarens Educational Tours reserves the right to exclude any participant from a tour if their behaviour is deemed disruptive or unsafe.

6. Liability

Clarens Educational Tours will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of participants. However, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage incurred by participants during a tour or while using our services, unless caused by our gross negligence.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including logos, trademarks, and tour materials, is the property of Clarens Educational Tours and may not be used without our prior written consent.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

9. Changes to Terms and Conditions

Clarens Educational Tours reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
