Clarens brings to life the challenges of changing economic function and employment. In Clarens, we review how tourism in the town compares to the eco-tourism of the Golden Gate National Park. Students visit the park and evaluate how tourism is managed in the park, as well as investigating how Clarens’ rivers and mountains lend themselves to adventure seeking tourists. Investigate threats to this tourism jewel, as we take a closer look at land invasions and the causes and solutions.
